  Ph: +63-917-834-5561

This distinguished judge has been a pillar of the dog world for several decades. Since two years old, Milo has owned a range of purebred dogs, including Pekingese and German Shepherds imported by his parents. From then on, his enthusiasm for owning and breeding purebred dogs persisted leading to his involvement in the Philippine Canine Club, Inc. (PCCI) in 1968. And in cognizance of the duration and magnitude of his service to the club, he was made one of the very few and distinguished lifetime members. Aside from PCCI, Milo has also offered his service and dog expertise to other clubs, having been elected as President of the Philippine Toy Dog Club (PTDC) for seven straight years and once as Chairman of the important Affiliated Clubs Committee.
Spanning almost a lifetime of dog ownership and breeding, Milo has owned and bred an array of breed, including Pugs, Chihuahuas, Shih Tzus, Pomeranians, Dalmatians, German Shorthaired Pointers, Basset Hounds, Beagles, German Shepherds, Dobermans, Boxers, Pekingese, Toy Poodles, Dachshunds, and Cocker Spaniels, several of which became champions. But among all his accomplishments, our judge is best known for achieving the rare feat of breeding and handling 32 Philippine Champion and 8 Grand Champion Miniature Pinschers. The most famous among these is Phil Ch “Babu”, which sired the first Philippine Grand Champion dog in the Philippines. To date, his kennel, the Valdes Kennel, has produced more than fifty Champions and Grand Champions, mostly Philippine-bred.

Ph: +61-404-833-924   Email: Click here

Roberta bought her first Rottweiler in the early 1980’s, and except for her first few years in Australia, has had at least one in her life ever since. She's bred over 30 champions; in this number are 3 Grand Champions (including a father and son) and 8 specialty challenge winners (including a National Best of Breed winner). In addition to her own program, she likes to think that she's made a contribution to the breed in Australia through the importation of quality Rottweiler's sourced from Germany, the USA and New Zealand. Three of her imported bitches went on to become V-rated Australian Champions, with one becoming an American and Canadian Champion also. Roberta has also imported Rottweiler's that were titled prior to their arrival; for example the first American Champion Rottweiler to come to Australia, and, to her knowledge, she is still the only breeder to register in Australia what qualifies as a "pink papered" litter in Germany through the importation in whelp of V-rated, Baffy von der Quellenberg Sch I AD BH Ztpr (Gmy).
Roberta is a specialist judge for Rottweiler's, and has judged the breed in Malaysia, Australia, Finland, England, Wales and New Zealand. In addition to judging Rottweiler's, she is licensed for the remainder of the Utility Group and all Gun Dogs and Working (Herding) Dogs. In 2009, having already judged Rottweiler Specialties in Melbourne and Brisbane, she's delighted to have been invited to judge a specialty show in her home state of South Australia later this year. In additional to her 'dog life', she also has other projects that are important to her. She has a PhD from the University of Adelaide, where she currently lectures in international marketing and research methods.

To most of the Finnish Collie breeders or dog people in general, Rainer does not need an introduction. He is all-rounder who has judged throughout the world and whose own breed is the Collie. He has been a member of the Finnish Kennel Clubs´ board and member of the Judges and Show committee. He also has been active in many different breed clubs. He has written a book about dog shows and his favourite breed, Rough Collie.  Fluent in English, Swedish & Finnish, Rainer got his first dog, a Miniature Pinscher, in 1948. He has also had a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Welsh Corgi Pembrokes.   When asked what it is that captivates him about the Collie breed, he said that "The true Collie simply is most beautiful, enchanting and intelligent". In the 60's Rainer bred the first litters under the affix of Rainwood. Foundation was based on Ladypark lines. Most memorable dogs have been having the first Finnish Collie to achieve an International Champion title CH Examine v. Durchwald and Int CH of Rainwood Rustler. When asked what has been his most memorable judging experience he pointed out that of course it has been great honour to judge Collies at Crufts twice, but still one of the most enjoyable experiences was at Collie specialty shows in 70's and 80's where you could see many truly beautiful Collies that had the correct type.  Rainer is happy to see how well breed type has been maintained in Finland. Rainer is an Honorary member of the Finnish Kennel Club, and recipient of Gold Awards from the Swedish, Danish and Estonian Kennel Clubs. Fluent in English, Finnish & Swedish.
