Fran commenced showing and breeding in 1961. She has bred in excess of 100 Australian Champion Pekingese and 5 Australian Grand Champions. She also showed her Finish import to his Grand Championship. Throughout her show career she has also bred and exhibited Champion Pugs and Australia Silky Terriers. In 2000 Fran was appointed Chairperson of the Dogs New South Wales Member's Education Scheme. In 1982 she was Assistant Toy Group Coordinator for the Judges Training Scheme in New South Wales and was appointed Toy Group Coordinator in 1992. This position is still currently held. Fran was awarded the Distinguished Service Award for her long service and dedication to the Judges Training Scheme. She has judged many specialties in Australia, Denmark, Germany, New Zealand, Singapore, Sweden, United Kingdom, and the United States.
