Carol registered her FCI Kennel Name Sonlit in 1981. She has judged for 15 years with AKC and ASCA and the last three years with ICKC and IABCA. Carol has owned dog breeds from the herding, toy, sporting and terrier groups. She has completed specialty matches in Collies, Shelties, Briards, Schnauzers and recently began judging Biewers. She worked in a GSP kennel in her youthand also attended field trials. With her husband Mike, Carol has raised and showed Chows and Frenchies since 1980 under the Sonlit prefix. She has produced with limited breeding program 25 champions including 2 All Breeds BIS and 2 National Specialty winners (BOB & BOS). Carol bred the second all time top winning Frenchie male in Americas breeding history. She has owned and bred multiple group winning and top ten ranked Chows and French Bulldogs. She is AKC licensed to judge French Bulldogs and Boston Terriers and has judged Specialty Shows in Chows, French Bulldogs and Boston Terriers. Her husband Mike is AKC licensed to judge Chows and French Bulldogs.
