Owned and bred Whippets under the Aikerskaill prefix since 1981 and has twice owned and exhibited the No. 3 placed Whippet in Canada - SBIS Ch Tuckerton Minnie Pearl F Ch (1984) and BIS & SBIS Ch Aikerskaill Distant Thunder (1986). He has bred and exhibited over 100 champion Whippets as well as many BIS and Specialty BIS winners. Has also bred and exhibited Standard Long-Hair Dachshunds and Miniature Poodles. He is a founding member and first President, National Whippet club of Canada; President, Manitoba Canine Association; Board member, Assiniboine Kennel Club; member, Canadian Kennel Club; member, American Whippet Club and member, Canadian Dog Judges Association. Has judged in Australia, New Zealand and the USA.
