Show judge since 1991, but active in the dog world since 1974. First dog that he owned was a Pekingese. During the years he owned various dogs, but his constant love remained the Dachshunds. In 1986 he became the President of Hunedoara Kennel Club, and also a member in the Romanian Kennel Club's board. From these positions, he took part in organising various shows. Between the years 1996-2001, he had the honour of being the President of the Romanian Kennel Club. All-rounder since 2005, also since 2005 he is the vice-president of the Judges Committee of ACHR. Has judged all over the world, being a very familiar face at all the big shows. Friends also know him as "Mr. Draculescu", due to his initiative to create "The DDS ® CACIB" as a new Romanian brand. Fluent in English, French, German, Hungarian, and Italian.
