  Pinscher and Schnauzer - Molossoid Breeds - Swiss Mountain and Cattle Dogs

Ilona's parents had already a well-known Boxer kennel before she was born. She grew up with Boxers, and as a five year old child went with her parents to all the dog shows in Europe. She was always interested in many breeds ... her husband had Dobermann's and Miniature Schnauzers when they got married. Ilona did her first FCI judge examination for Boxers more than 30 years ago. Now she is an FCI Group judge for Group 1 and Group 2 and some breeds in Group 3 and 9. She judges about 40 times a year, all over the world. She is on the Judges Committee of the Netherlands, which organizes all the Breed examinations for the Dutch Kennel Club. She educates people who want to become a judge and is on the examining board for breed examinations and for the examination Conformation and Movement. In 2008 she judged the Rottweiler Championship Specialty Show in Australia with 135 entries. In February 2009 she judged Best In Show at "The Dog of the Year Show" in the Netherlands, where all the Top-winning dogs of the year 2008 were entered.
