I have been approved to judge in the US since 2003. I only judge 4 hound breeds and Jr Showmanship but am studying more breeds and plan to apply this year. I have exhibited Bloodhounds since 1980. I bred only 1 litter of 7 Bloodhounds which amassed titles in Conformation, Obedience, Tracking, Trailing and Agility. I have also owned and shown an Irish Wolfhound. I am a parent club approved judge education mentor for the American Bloodhound Club. I love judging and believe that it is better to know and judge a few breeds well than to judge many breeds for which you have only a passing interest and knowledge. I hope someday to be approved for the Hound Group, and plan to apply for 4 more breeds in 2013 toward this end. I also judge Junior Showmanship and have a special passion for teaching and learning from the upcoming young handlers.
