Tsai started breeding Boxer in 1970, Miniature Pinscher in 1998, and has also been involved in the breeding of Bullmastiff, German Shepherd Dog, Bull Dog, Yorkshire Terrier, Maltese, Miniature Schnauzer, Neapolitan Mastiff, Griffon, Pug, Pomeranian, Toy Poodle, Chihuahuas, Akita, Pekingese, Siberian Husky, Shar Pei, Shiba, Great Pyrenees, Golden Retriever and so on, under his kennel name "Yi-Ling". Tsai established the Taiwan Boxer Club in 1982. As a professional handler, he showed at over 700 shows in Taiwan, Hong Kong, China for 30 years, championed many BOB, & more than 70 BIS, including 2005 All-breed ranking No.1 Boxer. He served as the chief, but is now retired as a member of KCT Handling Committee. Meanwhile, he is a member of the Board and the Judging Committee. Tsai was qualified as Breed Judge for Boxer in 1981, and licensed as KCT All-Breed Judge in 2005. He has judged more than 12000 dogs, and has judged in Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, India, Myanmar, Australia, Singapore, Indonesia and Japan.
