David, and his wife Helen, have been involved with Boxers since 1973, exhibiting for the first time in 1975. Since then they have successfully bred and exhibited, under their prefix Sandshurl, producing many champions, BIS winners and Royal winners. In recent times David's involvement in the Dog World has moved away from exhibiting to working as Show Manager and Steward for many clubs and participation in club administration. He began judging in the late 1980s and derives much pleasure from this side of canine affairs,attaining All Breeds judging status in 2009. Helen also began judging in the late 1980's and has been All Breeds for more than 10 years.
