My first dog, a very deliberately chosen American Staffordshire Terrier, came into my life rather late in 2005, but caused a burst of events.
I have bred 3 litters, in total 13 dogs, after which I stopped to concentrate on other roles, in particular the battle against Breed Specific Legislation.
Of these 13 dogs 5 were used for breeding, 3 became champions in multiple countries. 1 was successful in agility. I showed for several years very frequently throughout Europe.

I have been an active member of the community since the start and board member of the American Staffordshire Terrier Club Holland for 7 years.

For me the American Staffordshire Terrier is a dog that is more than any other breed defined by its temperament. For me this is the first element of a good specimen.
While looking for a dog that shows a great breed specific appearance I also find it important that the dog is structurally sound. A well defined front and solid back are things that need attention in our breed and that I value very much.

In judging you may expect to be treated respectfully and friendly, but beyond that I hope you will forgive me if my real focus and attention will be with your dog.
I am fluent in Dutch, English and Italian
