Ralf is a second-generation breeder and judge, his father having bred Norwegian Elkhounds. Ralf became co-owner of his father�s prefix when he came of age and began his own judging career in 1963. Ralf has enjoyed judging assignments in Belgium, Estonia, France, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Scandinavia, Great Britain, Switzerland, Germany, USA and South Africa. An active member of the pedigree dog world, Ralf is currently Vice President of the Board of Representatives of the Norwegian Kennel Club, has been a Chairman of Oslo-Omar�dets Elkhound Club, the Board of Breeding, The Show Committee and President of the Association of Norwegian Elkhound Clubs as well as Secretary and Member of many other Clubs and Associations too numerous to name. Awarded The Norwegian Kennel Club's Silver Mark of Distinction. Judged at Melbourne Royal 2005
