  Caldhame

Well known BreedersExhibitors of Great Danes, American Cocker Spaniels, Dachshunds, both are very experienced Judges, having judged for over 20 years. For the past 35 years Richard and his wife have owned and shown Great Danes under the prefix of Caldhame, and have bred a few Group and Best in Show winners. They have also owned American Cocker Spaniels, Standard Long Haired Dachshunds and Whippets. He has been involved in handling Dobermanns and Saint Bernard's to champion status. Richard has judged in all the major provinces in South Africa and championship shows in Zambia and has twice been invited to judge in Ireland. He has served on Durban and District Kennel Club, and been Chairman and Patron of Pietermaritzburg Kennel Club for 15 years. He is currently Patron of South African Great Dane Association.
