Erika is a Brazilian resident, holding both Brazilian and Italian citizenship. Under-graduate degree in History from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, post-graduate degree in the Psychology of Teaching. Performed professional activities in both governmental and private institutions in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. In 1988, began her career in the sport of pure bred dogs with Siberian Huskies. Her first Siberian champion was BISS Grand Ch. & Braz. Ch. Kaizer Firewood Weiss. With 11 years of experience in Siberians, began breeding Doberman Pinschers as well. In 1994, became an All Breed International Judge with the Brazilian Kennel Club Confederation (CBKC-FCI). Experienced judge for Siberian Husky and Doberman Pinscher specialties. Qualified as an all-breed judge with judging experience in several Brazilian States, Colombia, Venezuela, Bolivia, Peru and Argentina. Participated as Director of the Federacao Mineira de Cinofilia (FMC) in the 1990?s. In 2006, qualified and certified as a Specialized Judge for Dobermanns by the Brazilian Dobermann Club (CBRD) and in 2008, judged the Top 20 and Pre-National for the Dobermann Club of Argentina. Erika is the author of articles for specialized dog magazines: Winners Dog (Brazil), Pet Champions (Brazil), Dobermann Latino (Argentina), Dog Winners (Argentina) and Doberman Digest (USA).
