Mrs Deborah Harbin MEd, BeEd, Dip Teach
Deborah has been involved in showing dogs since 1985. Her first dalmatian gained her Ch title very quickly and was rarely not in the winners circle. Dalmatians are her chosen breed but she has also shown and bred Shih Tzu's. Under the kennel prefix ‘Krystaway’ her and Robert have bred, owned or handled 6 Grand Champions and 3 Supreme Champions winning multiple Best In Show and Best In Specialty Show awards. Supreme Champion Hillosilver Paparazzi, ‘Poppy’ was the number 1 dalmatian bitch in the state in 2010,2011 and the national No 1 bitch in 2012 and remains the only Supreme titled bitch in the state. Her current dog BIS BISS Sup Ch Krystaway Weekend Hustler, Rocky was the first dal awarded Supreme Champion in the State. Deborah is an All Breeds judge. and is an approved Assessor for Toys, Gundogs & Non Sporting groups. As well as being a judge since 1999, Deborah is an active ring steward and a member of Specialty and All Breeds Clubs. She has been President of The Dalmatian Club of NSW Inc , President & is currently Secretary of the Non Sporting Dog Club of NSW, Vice President of The Shih Tzu Club of NSW and Secretary, and Show Secretary of Wollongong & District Kennel Club. She was also the Secretary of the National Dalmatian Council for 8 years until 2013. Deborah has judged internationally and across Australia and New Zealand. She is the Coordinator of the Domestic Animals Section for the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW and primarily organises the Sydney Royal Dog Show, the largest and most prestigious show in the country. Deborah has also been given the honour of being listed in the Who’s Who of Australian Women.
