Trevor lives in Gauteng, near to the International Airport which is close to Johannesburg. He started exhibiting in 1980 with Irish Wolfhounds and then also became smitten with Saluki's. "Roaringwater" has become a fairly well known name and they have shown with a great deal of success. Saluki's continue to be their passion and Trevor has also successfully shown Whippets, Mini Dachshunds (long and smooth) as well as a Lhasa Apso. Trevor started judging in 1984 and is an All Breed Judge at International level including FCI. He has judged in the USA,Sweden, Australia and New Zealand. He is a past chairman of an All Breed Club and was one of the founders of the Irish Wolfhound Club; the Rainbow Saluki Club; the Whippet Club and the Ring Stewards Association. He served on the Provincial Council for many years and has been involved with the judges training sub-committee. Trevor was recently elected President of The Highveld Scenthound Club.
