Jill is licensed to judge ALL BREEDS at Championship level. She obtained her first Championship licence (Gundogs) in 1996 and attained All Breeds status in 2009. As well as judging in South Africa, Jill has judged all over Australia (apart from the NT) and in New Zealand on a number of occasions, including Labrador Retriever Specialty Championship Shows in NZ and in NSW, and was invited to judge Labrador Retrievers in Indonesia in 2009. Jill's childhood years were shared with a number of working dogs. Her parents bred and showed German Shepherd Dogs for many years, and they also had a Welsh Corgi (Pembroke) and a Shetland Sheepdog living with them. Later, her parents gave her a Labrador Retriever as a pet and she has loved and owned this breed ever since. Jill has successfully bred and shown Labrador Retrievers for many, many years and most weekends will see her in the Gundog ring with Grand Champion Prestonvale Pluto (a black male), his son Ch Arigato Azeus (yellow) and his granddaughter Ch Prestonvale Painted Lady (yellow).
