Mark has been breeding Shetland Sheepdogs and Dachshunds for almost 20 years under the GrandGables kennel name. He has judged in the UK, USA, Canada, Japan and South Africa. Originally South African, he is now a Canadian Citizen living near Toronto, Ontario Canada. Since moving to Canada Mark and his partner Guy Jeavons (an All-Breeds judge) have held the breed record for the top winning Miniature Smooth Dachshund for the most number of Best in Shows - currently the top Hound in Canada and amongst the top 10 all breeds. They have won winners and awards of merit at the Dachshund Club of America, National Miniature Dachshund Show and the American Shetland Sheepdog Club. Their achievements in dogs since leaving South Africa have been beyond their dreams.
