KNOX, Mrs Elaine (Lainie) New South Wales,
Lainie obtained her first Weimaraner in 1980 and since that time she has successfully bred and exhibited many Champions under her ASHLAREN prefix which has consistently been the line behind many well known Weimaraners who have made their mark on the show scene, both here in Australia and several countries overseas. Being a gundog specialist and mindful of the fact that a gundog must move correctly in order to work in the field, she is particularly focused on judging dogs that are well constructed and move correctly for the purpose for which they were bred. Lainie is an ALL BREEDS Judge and has judged extensively all around Australia as well as in many overseas countries including China, South Africa, Thailand, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, Canada and Japan and has judged several specialty championship shows in all groups that she is qualified to judge. She has also had breed involvement in English Pointers and German Pinschers, having imported the breed from France and Austria, but gundogs are her first love. She has held various executive positions in the Weimaraner Club of NSW Inc for many years (currently Vice President) and is a member of Dogs NSW Conformation Judging Training Committee assisting in the training and development of new judges in NSW.
