B. A. (Bart) Miller is a third-generation dog fancier who first competed in the conformation ring with a Boston Terrier, over 50 years ago. Since then he has bred, and titled to Championships - Great Pyrenees, Standard & Miniature Poodles and countless numbers of Siberian Huskies. He has also owned andor shown to Championships breeds in all seven groups. With his wife, Patti under the Blueridge-Soma kennel prefix, they have bredownedhandled Siberians to somewhere well in excess of 100 All-breed Best in Shows and countless Specialty Bests. They bred two legendary sires in Europe one of which produced the 1994 World Show winner. In America they have had several dogs in the top 10. No longer breeding, their line solidly entrenched in the capable hands of others, the only current canine resident is a rather crotchety 5-year old Rottweiler.
