A Chartered Accountant by profession. Her interest in dogs began in the mid-sixties with a parti-coloured American Cocker Spaniel. She excelled in breeding and exhibiting producing many champions and taking top honours. She was likewise successful in breeding and exhibiting Pointers. Was a professional handler of excellence. Her prefix still appears in the pedigrees of some of the top Yankies. She has curtailed breeding due to her judging. Was also successful with Mini Long Haired Dachshunds and has two retired ones at present. She was President of the local Kennel Club and still serves as a member, is well known and respected for her seminars on Cockers and other breeds in the group. She has judged at most of the prestigious Gundog shows in the States and many in other countries including Switzerland, England, Columbia, Spain, Australia, China, Russia and more.
