Pamela has been involved with hounds and horses as a teenager, whilst living in Yorkshire and after moving to South Africa and subsequently to Jersey she began showing Salukis and Afghan Hounds. Pamela and her husband, Stuart , jointly maintain the Elangeni Affix, breeding a litter , one of which , Elangeni Dancing Shadow took the Reserve Bitch CC at Crufts. Pamela has judged extensively in UK and Ireland ,and once in both New Zealand, and Australia and has judged the Hound Group at Championship Shows in South Africa several times. Pamela awards CCs in Afghan Hounds and Salukis . Pamela is Secretary of The Kennel Club of Jersey and as such is actively involved in the administration of that Club and organization of all its Shows, Events, and Ringcraft classes. Pamela is also a Member of The Kennel Club in London. A teacher by profession, her other interests are horse-riding , gardening , photography and bird watching.
