Show Dog Judges Profiles

NEILSON

, Mr Christopher Ontario,

CANADA

  • KENNELS:

    Priority, Come-pat-a-bull

Christopher's career in the dog world began in 1972 when he starting with his first English Bulldog (purchased as a pet). By 1980 he had purchased show quality bulldogs and began breeding under the prefix "Priority" Bulldogs. After his marriage in 1990 to wife Gail, they began a new kennel and changed their name to "Come-Pat-A-Bull Bulldogs". Their motto has always been 'Bulldogs are our life, not our living" which is also the case in his judging career. He does not do it for the money, rather for the love of it. They also began breeding French Bulldogs under the same kennel prefix. Accomplishments in the show ring (always owner handled) include the top Bulldog in Canada for 1991, 1992, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, & 2003. They have also finished both French & English Bulldogs in the States. Christopher's judging career began in 1990 and he is now an All Breeds licensed judge. He has judged in Canada, U.S.A. and China, New Zealand and Australia. He is proud to say that he judges dogs, not people. He does not rely on this career for income and only charges very reasonable rates. The fact is that if tomorrow they passed a law prohibiting judges from charging a fee and only let you judge for travel expenses, HE WOULD STILL BE JUDGING.
