Bruno has been breeding Miniature and Toy Poodles with his wife Paola and his daughter Viviana under the "Osmanthus" prefix since 1982. Dogs have been always been in his life. Miniatures have always been his passion but then in 1991 the first Toy came into their home, requested by his daughter, so they also started to show and breed Miniatures very successfully. Osmanthus in known all over Europe, and attribute their success to breeding European lines with the Scandinavian lines. Bruno has produced many World and European winners over the past years and pays tribute to their foundation stock for generations after generations of successful dogs. Breeding only one or 2 litters per year at Osmanthus they have 35 International champions, and have bred champions in the following countries: Italy, France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Russia, Czech Republic, Poland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Argentina, South America, Greece and Ukraine. Their dogs won the World Winner title in 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, Veteran World Winner in 2000, 2005 (3rd BIS). The European Winner title in 1990, 96, 98, 99, 2000, 02, 03, 05, 07, and 08. Breeder of the Top winning Poodle all sizes in Czech Republic 1999; Top winning Miniature and 3rd Best Miniature in Denmark 2000; Top winning Toy bitch and #2 Top Toy in Norway 2000; Top winning Poodle all sizes in Greece 1999, 2000, 2001; Top winning Toy & Poodles all sizes in Yugoslavia 1999; Top winning Toy in Holland 2000, 2001. Bruno became an official Poodle Specialist Judge in September 2006 and now FCI International, and he had already the honour to judge in his own country, Belgium, Canada, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Hungary,Czech Republic, Slovakia,Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland,Latvia, Russia, Estonia, Bielorussia, France (at the prestigious National D'Elevage), Swi Israel, Holland. He has judged the annual National Specialties in Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Holland, Hungary, Israel, Switzerland. He is the first Italian and only the 3rd European in the history that has been invited to judge the Poodle Club Of Canada National Specialty in 2009.He judged at the European Winner Show in Geneva 2013. Bruno is very grateful to his mentors and teachers Mrs. Lisbeth Mach, Mrs. Marisa Brivio Chellini and the late Mrs. Tina VioiGussoni. Professionally, Bruno works with his family in their own small company of electronic equipment.
