NORMAN, Ms Diana K Queensland,
Diana was born in Jersey, where the cows come from, and migrated to Australia for ten pounds in 1968. In 1975, she began her very successful involvement in German Shorthaired Pointers under the prefix "Edelhof". Although only a small kennel Edelhof GSP's have excelled in all fields of competition. Diana's aim was to strive for the perfect GSP and to live up to the Edelhof motto "Beauty, Brains and Birdsense". One of her most memorable wins was the day Aust Grand Ch Edelhof the Vespers won Best in Show at the GSP National in 2006 under a German Breed Warden. Although her love for GSPs continues she found it hard to keep up with them around the ring and so she handed her dogs and her prefix to her daughter Jade who is continuing to breed remarkable GSPs.
In 2007 Diana and her husband Tim imported four Griffon bitches from the leading Griffon breeders in Europe. They were followed by a dog and three bitches from the USA and a bitch from New Zealand. In 2011 Tim and Diana imported Ch Donzeata Royal Star from David Guy in the UK. In the short time that he has been in Australia Freddie has really made his mark on the breed and in 2013 was followed by UK Ch Donzeata Royal Tweed (imp UK).
Diana is licensed to Judge All Breeds and has officiated in all States and Territories of Australia, New Zealand, Asia. She has also judged in Canada, the USA and Holland including Best in Show in these countries.
