    All Breeds

Ian has been involved in show dogs since 1975 and in that time the most successful breeds that he has owned and shown include Saluki's, Whippets, Dobermans, Siberian Huskies, Norfolk Terriers and Papillons. Over the years he has won in excess of 200 Best in Show awards with dogs from these breeds. His main breed is Saluki's and he has owned and bred them since 1978 under the Ahmadi prefix. His Saluki's have been amongst the top winning Saluki's in Australia for many years, and he has owned or bred the number one Salukis in Australia many times, as well as the number one Saluki in Japan in 2006. A Siberian Husky that Ian co-owned and handled, AmericanCanadianAustralian Grand CH Innisfrees Alexander (Imp USA) was retired after winning 67 BIS's as the top Best in Show winning Siberian Husky in the world at the time. To the best of his knowledge, he is still the #1 BEST IN SHOW winning owner-handled Siberian Husky in the world of all time. In recent years he has also become involved in Papillon's and bred his first litter in 2007, and from this litter they have Best in Show and multiple Group winning dogs. Ian has been judging since 1991 and in 2007 was granted All Breeds status by the Australian National Kennel Control. Countries that he has judged in are Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, America, Thailand, Japan, the Philippines, Korea, China, India and Finland. He is a judges training coordinator in Brisbane, a member of the Judges Training board and also gives breed lectures on several breeds.
